Power place Himmelstiege in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis (Lamm)

The ascent to Himmelstiege starts at the house Baun in Lamm 14 (Klug). After a quarter of an hour's walk on the Zeißberg Rundweg, an inconspicuous path branches off to the left at a right angle to reach the Himmelstiege.

At Kirchberg, the Himmelsstiege rises as a gigantic double rock that drops steeply 30 meters to the east. If you turn a few hundred meters to the west at the highest point of the first rock, you reach the second step of the Himmelsstiege. This is another huge rock. You then climb four more rocks at intervals of a few hundred meters.

At 852 meters, the Kirchberg is the highest elevation in the municipality of Neumarkt.
