Rubbing Walks

Rubbing stations have been set up at 15 historic, geologically or scenically interesting places in the Stoder Valley. Using a special chalk walkers can rub the motif from a brass plate into a little book.

In this book there is background information regarding the individual rubbing places and plenty of space for rubbings. Directions and interesting information about the current location complete the book. This book, together with the appropriate chalk and a walking map where the sites are marked is available at a reduced price from the Tourist Offices in Hinterstoder and Vorderstoder.

Hinterstoder tourist information:
Drive through the town of Hinterstoder and shortly after the church you will find the Hinterstoder municipal office on the right, which also houses the tourist office and the Alpineum Hinterstoder.

Tourist information Vorderstoder:
The Vorderstoder tourist office is located in the Vorderstoder municipal office near the church in the center of Vorderstoder, directly on the state road.
