Pfarre Ungenach

Welcome to the Ungenach parish church!

The church was built in 1526. As Ungenach is an alluvial area, the church stands on wooden pilings approx. 6m deep. A baroque high altar was erected in 1643. There is still a carpenter's model of this altar in the possession of the parish. There was a fire in the church in 1734. Between 1870 and 1907, the church was completely renovated and given a new interior.
