As an alternative to the fee-based street performance permit, artists of all genres can use the Open Stage at the Alter Markt free of charge for their performances, concerts, shows, presentations, readings, poetry slams, dance and theater performances, jam sessions, and much more.

Simply fill out the form, select a date and time, and once you receive the confirmation email, your slot is confirmed! Please note: Reservations can only be made until 12:00 p.m. the day before.

Street musicians may only perform unamplified on the Open Stage.
