Lake Heratingersee, also known as Ibmer See, is up to 7 metres deep and 32 hectares in size. It is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Austria and lies on the northern border of the Ibmer Moor.
It is up to 600 metres long and 500 metres wide and is ideal for fun and relaxation. Located in the municipality of Eggelsberg in the district of Ibm, Lake Ibmer See is part of the Oberinnviertler Seenplatte and is an idyllic excursion and holiday destination. Lake Heratinger See is drained by the Moosbach to the Salzach.
