Buchholzer Bräu

Ried in der Riedmark, Oberösterreich, Österreich

Armando Kunz and Robert Wöckinger have been brewing their own beer together since 2008 and their passion has now developed into 7 different types.

  • Original - very drinkable, noticeably hopped, top-fermented
  • Kellerbier - very drinkable, noticeably hopped, bottom-fermented, light-coloured
  • Amber - honeydew melon, caramel, balanced hopping
  • Dark Stuff - roasted flavours, dry, dark
  • Pale ale - typically fruity, aromatic hops, drinkable, pleasantly bitter
  • Bock - deceitfully palatable & strong
  • Hopf'n-Lackl - dark, strong, cold-hopped ale

The 300-litre brewing system was built by them and has been in operation since 2018.
It consists of:
- Mash tun
- Lauter tun
- Boiling kettle
- Boiler for secondary brewing
The tanks are electrically operated.
