Our firm belief in our products, which we produce naturally on our farm, and the direct contact with our customers were the reason why direct marketing became a mainstay for us.
Species-appropriate husbandry and stress-free slaughtering of the animals on our own farm are the basis for high-quality and flavoursome products. Regionality is also an important issue.
We offer the following products on our farm:
Hildegard and Hermann as the parents' generation and the next generation son Simon with his girlfriend Daniela and their children Finn and Emilia.
Hermann & Hildegard
Hermann took over the farm from his father Schwarz Franz in 1979.
After a stroke of fate in 1991, the division of labour on the farm changed.
Hildegard returned to work and Hermann took care of the farm.
Due to the steep slopes on the farm, we looked for an alternative to dairy farming. We soon had our first deer on the Kaiserberg.
From rearing, feeding and species-appropriate husbandry to slaughtering and marketing, Hermann spends a lot of time with the animals.
As the former chairman of the Upper Austrian Gamekeepers' Association, Hermann is always on hand to offer help and advice to other gamekeepers.
Simon & Daniela
Simon showed an interest in the farm from an early age and graduated from the Kirschlag agricultural college. The agricultural skilled worker was followed by the agricultural master craftsman in 2019.
Daniela and Simon first started rearing geese for Martini and Christmas in 2012. Since then, there have been more and more every year. As the two took a liking to poultry, the first chickens followed in 2017 and the first ducks in 2022.
In addition to working with the animals, Simon and Daniela also take care of product presentation, marketing and sales.
They both have a soft spot for Emil, the red deer that Daniela reared by hand.
