Both corners facing Bezirksgerichtsgasse are reinforced with stone wheel deflectors. These prevented the passage of horse-drawn carts that were too wide. Five flying buttresses provide structural support for the outer walls. The flat bay window facing the alley, which rests on stone consoles, has a small "peephole" on the narrow side.
The Gothic window in front of the bay window bears a stonemason's mark on the underside of the windowsill. Such marks were only allowed to be used by trained, licensed journeymen and masters. They were the signature of a stonemason. The mark was awarded on admission to the guild. The bevelling of the window frames is intended to allow more light in.
