Summer is the peak season for enjoying the great outdoors. A cozy blanket, a picnic basket packed with regional delicacies, and the beauty of nature all around!

There are many beautiful spots along the Mattig River where you can enjoy a picnic. Some of them are located along the meadows and small islands near the river’s confluence with the Inn in Braunau.
These spots are located right along the Inn, Tauern, Trift, and Mattigtal bike trails and are therefore easily accessible by bike.
