The Salzach Durchbruck can be reached on foot from the old bridge in Ach in about half an hour.
On a hike along the banks of the Salzach to the wild and romantic Salzach breakthrough, you can enjoy marvellous views of the world's longest castle complex in Burghausen and find various picnic spots.
The hike starts at the Waldgasthaus Naturfreunde.
