Klimt and the magic of Lake Attersee
Gustav Klimt spent the summers between 1910 and 1916 at Lake Attersee. The largest of the Salzkammergut lakes inspired the Art Nouveau painter to his most famous landscape paintings.
At the Klimtplatz in Unterach am Attersee you will find an information board and a Gustav Klimt stele. The square invites guests to linger and offers a beautiful view of the Attersee and the Höllengebirge.
