Inndie Beans - the Innviertel coffee roastery in Braunau

Peter Weiser and Gerhard Kasinger have been roasting high-quality coffee at Laabstraße 89 in Braunau since 2020. There is a small adjoining shop where the freshly roasted coffee creations can be purchased both packaged and in bulk. The two enthusiastic coffee roasters would be delighted to receive a personal visit - the roastery can also be toured. Current information, opening hours and of course an online shop can be found at www.inndie-beans.at

What makes Inndie Beans special Coffee is our passion and we still roast our selected coffee beans traditionally, in small batches and with a lot of love. What originally started as a part-time hobby for two coffee-loving friends around 15 years ago has grown into a successful business in just a few months after the purchase of a professional roasting machine. The steady growth in demand and the many positive feedbacks from our customers motivate us every day to deliver the best possible product.

The philosophy of coffee roasting
We combine the ancient craft of coffee roasting with state-of-the-art technology. This helps us to unite the flavourful advantages of the traditional roasting process with the economic benefits of modern technology. Our coffee is gently roasted at around 220 degrees and is therefore very digestible and aromatic - in contrast to industrial roasting at up to 550 degrees, which produces significantly more harmful substances. We create our own roasting profile for each of our bean varieties. This enables us to guarantee our customers consistently high quality for the finest flavour. Because the freshness of the roasted beans is extremely important for the optimum end product, we only roast in small batches each week.

Our motivation
Italian coffee culture is world-famous for good reason and we have set ourselves the goal of firmly establishing this added quality of life here in our country too. However, to ensure that the coffee really tastes like it does in Italy, it is very important that the quality of the product always takes precedence over profit and quantity. This applies not only to the economically and ecologically balanced selection of raw beans and their careful roasting, but of course also to the professional storage and preparation of the coffee. We want to promote these values with our company and convey them to our customers.

Where does the coffee come from?

The raw beans for the "Inndie Beans" come from Brazil, Mexico, India, Papua New Guinea, Honduras and Guatemala, are partly organic and are stored exclusively in recyclable jute sacks. We attach great importance to fair trading conditions for the coffee farmers when purchasing.

Nice to know

One of the coffee varieties used comes from the indigenous coffee village of La Trinitaria in Mexico in the state of Chiapas, where Inndie Beans supports a school project for disadvantaged children by purchasing the coffee beans. Currently, 157 pupils attend this school, where they acquire very good English skills and 90% of graduates go on to attend college - that's twice the national average.
