Communication means exchange and participation; it is part of our lives, and we rely on language and speech.
Speech and language therapy forms part of primary healthcare and encompasses speech and language assessment and treatment for communication disorders caused by illness, affecting both spoken and written language, as well as preventative measures. Speech and language therapy is prescribed by a doctor and takes the form of individual or group therapy.
As a qualified speech and language therapist, I am happy to support singers and wind instrument players on their journey towards a healthy tone.
My passion for the creative and artistic use of colours and the search for new avenues for my clients led me to enrol on a diploma course in colour, style and image consultancy in 2012. The insights gained from this training, combined with my therapeutic voice work, offer an expanded range of services for anyone concerned with their outward appearance, maintaining good health and the impact of their voice.
