The Rüstorf Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded on 2 February 1887 and had a membership of 27 men at that time.
Our fire brigade currently has five emergency vehicles: a command vehicle, a TLFA 2000, a LFB, a VW bus (former command vehicle) and a KLF (vehicles).
To ensure we are ready for call-outs, we hold regular drills as well as a spring and an autumn drill.
Firefighters also receive further training through courses and workshops. The firefighters of tomorrow are trained in the youth group, and a competition team also takes part in the skills competitions.
