MOIA in Schmieding

At the Moia in Schmieding
There are many rarities and specialities on this small arable farm on the western shore of Lake Höllerersee. From mid-May, the chickens are joined by a flock of grazing geese, which leave the farm again around St Martin's Day. Ancient grains such as einkorn, forest rye, Laufen wheat and naked oats are the hallmarks of the part-time organic farm. Fresh flakes of naked oats, freshly ground wholemeal flour, delicious wholemeal pasta and cold-pressed sunflower oil can be purchased in the small farm shop. All products come from the farm's own cultivation.
