Our farm covers an agricultural area of approx. 20 ha (12 ha arable land, 8 ha grassland) and 7 ha forest.
Wheat field
As we no longer keep cattle, we produce feed grain (such as oats, rye, triticale, spelt and wheat) and food grain (spelt and Laufner Landweizen) as well as straw and hay for sale to other organic farms.
After switching from conventional to organic farming in 2002, we have been a recognised organic certified farm since 2004 (2020) (2019) (2018) (2017) and a member of the BIO AUSTRIA Upper Austria regional association and the Austria Bio Garantie (2020) (2019) (2018) (2017) inspection association.
Product expansion
We would also like to expand our product range in the coming years by growing field vegetables.
Glasshouse and foil tunnel
Young plants are grown in the greenhouse. Primarily for our own use, but also for private sale. These mature into tasty vegetables in the foil tunnels and in the open field.
Our range
Various vegetable plants such as lettuce, cabbage, kohlrabi, tomatoes, courgettes and the like, with a heart for old seed-resistant varieties from the stock of Arche Noah (Association for the Preservation of Old Varieties) or ReinSaat and Demeter.
