NATURE - DENKMAL (Giant beech)

The beech is owned by the local forest owner Mr Tomandl, Stadl Nr. 26, 4090 Engelhartszell.

The beech "Buche" was declared a NATURE THREAT in 2013 and is approx. 200 - 210 years old, measures approx. 9 solid metres, is approx. 37 metres long and weighs approx. 22 tonnes.

It stands directly on the "DONAUSTEIG" or the TOKU Waldkirchen-Wesenufer hiking trail between Graben and Erledt.
