It is called the bowl chapel because a stone basin is walled into the altar table. Water used to flow from the "Teufelsbründ'l" into the Becker. The water is said to have healing powers - it contains radon - and sick children were once bathed in the basin. The water supply no longer exists, but the Brüdl is still there.
The bowl chapel has a stone-bloßes masonry, is plastered white inside and has a wooden porch. The roof of the chapel is crowned by the papal cross.
The first renovation of the station was in 1885, followed by others in 1913, 1937, 1980 and 2017.
