On our farm in the Mühlviertel near Traberg we have been keeping Merino sheep in the free-range stable since 1996. Starting with 5 sheep, our herd has now grown to 350 animals. Our sheep and lambs are kept in a species-appropriate manner with love and care. The hygiene and animal welfare regulations are strictly observed and regularly checked. The ewes are kept in the free-range pen, i.e. the sheep can stay both outdoors and in the barn. In the hilly Mühlviertel the animals grow up in a natural and stress-free environment. With high-quality feed, we guarantee the best quality - directly from the manufacturer. We have our own slaughter room, which was built according to the strict standards of the EU and is constantly kept up to date. At the age of 5 months, our young lambs are slaughtered in the farm's own slaughterhouse without stress and then processed into fresh meat. In this way we achieve that the “typical sheep taste” known from earlier times cannot even occur in meat.
