Four lakes culture

The lake landscape around Salzburg has always attracted culture. Artists from the capital cities have retreated there. Artists tell of this harmonious lake landscape in their art.
In spring 2019, people interested in culture from four lakes - Mattsee, Wallersee, Mondsee and Wolfgangsee - came together to pool their activities: "Vier-Seen-Kultur" was founded! Not an association, not an institution, but an active interweaving of four focal points with charm, verve and joie de vivre.
