LEADER-Region Mühlviertler Kernland

The association, whose activities are not profit-orientated, primarily aims to promote regional development in the "Mühlviertler Kernland" region.

Meet. Involve. Move. KERNLAND 2020 is the title of the new Local Development Strategy 2014 - 2020 of the LEADER region Mühlviertler Kernland.

The purpose of the association is the non-profit promotion of its members, in particular by providing impetus for sustainable development projects through its own regional support (Leader Management) and by assisting in their implementation in the areas of

• Agriculture/forestry and renewable forms of energy (environmental protection)
• Economy and tourism development (employment)
• Local development and culture
• Labour, education, youth and social affairs, including gender mainstreaming.

The purpose of the association is to be achieved through the following measures:

1. development and implementation of a regional development concept, in particular the
implementation of the "Leader Programme 2014-2020"
2. coordination and support for initiatives and projects
3. cross-sectoral cooperation and suggestions for regional innovations
4. operation of an office to fulfil the tasks of the association
5. lobbying for regional development in the Mühlviertler Kernland.
