The single-nave Gothic parish church with Baroque interior and rich early Rococo stucco by Johann Michael Vierthaler (1740) was built on the hills north of the Mattig spring lakes as early as 1325. In the chapel of St Mary there is an altar of the Virgin Mary from Altötting from the workshop of Meinrad Guggenbichler (1717).
