Anton Bruckner Symphony Trail

Starting in the centre of Bruckner's birthplace Ansfelden, the trail leads through fields, meadows and hilly woodland to St. Florian, where the burial place of the great composer is located.

In ten stations, information boards not only describe Bruckner's ten symphonies, but also provide the historical background to the time of the composer of each symphony.

AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIENCE
Interested visitors to the hiking trail are offered the opportunity to experience this hike in an audiovisual format. At the starting point of the hiking trail (Anton Bruckner Centrum or Anton Bruckner Museum), MP3 players with excerpts from Bruckner's ten symphonies can be borrowed (€22,- insert incl. €2,- contribution towards expenses). At the end of the hike you can return the MP3 player to the porter at St. Florian Abbey and you will also receive your deposit back School classes and travel groups are requested to register in good time.
