Deep in the forest in the 14th century a simple glassworks built near a spring. The people and their names, who produced glass near the "Obere Sternbauer" under difficult conditions and who carried the name Leonfelden with their goods out into the world, remained mysterious. The only testimonials are various finds of glass melting lumps, glass beads, quartz stones, glass melting port and remnants of glass melting furnaces.
