skating hall
Report dated:

The Norbert-Eder-Halle offers enough space for parties and large events in the summer months. In winter, the architecturally appealing hall is transformed into a 700 m² ice arena for 4 months, from November to February. In summer it is used for events.

Regardless of the weather and always brightly lit, winter sports enthusiasts can let themselves be guided onto the ice. A sophisticated booking plan allows the hall to be used by different groups at set times. This means that not only ice skating is possible here, but also ice hockey and curling. Of course, schools, groups or families can hire the hall during their free time. For school classes, we offer particularly favourable conditions.

The Tragwein ice rink is open for ice skating from November to February.

The ice rink is open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 17:30.
During the autumn holidays, Christmas holidays, semester breaks and public holidays, the ice rink is open daily from 14:00 to 17:30 for ice skating.

No operation - ice rink closed on the following days:

01 November 2020 - All Saints' Day
24 December 2020 - Christmas Eve
25 December 2020 - Christmas Day
31 December 2020 - New Year's Eve

Accessibility / arrival

The Norbert-Eder-Halle is located next to the new SCTK sports centre. It is located directly at the west entrance to the town centre on the B 124. Coming from Linz, turn right immediately after the "Tragwein" town sign in front of the Tragwein fire brigade centre. A green signpost "Eishalle" shows you the right way. The road curves to the right and leads down to the ice rink. If the parking spaces at the ice rink are full, you can drive about 100 metres towards the QUELL Café/Bar at the fire station, where you will find a large car park with free spaces. The walk to the hall from there takes about 1 minute.
