Theaterrunde Gutau

Unfortunately, there are no records of the exact year in which the Gutau theatre group was founded. However, it is known from oral tradition that theatre was already being performed in Gutau at the turn of the century. There is a handwritten card from 1910 which proves that there was already a theatre group in Gutau years earlier.

In recent years, we have put on at least one theatre production every year. But that's not all: sketches and jokes are performed at various events organised by other clubs (e.g. at the music club's New Year's Eve party). Every two years we take part in the "Gutau holiday pass". We organise a theatre trip for the children to a children's theatre and show them the "world of theatre". We regularly visit the performances of other theatre groups (to learn, get inspiration, maintain friendships, etc.). Bus trips to "big shows", such as musicals, are organised at irregular intervals.
