Panoramablick Vichtenstein | Sauwald Panoramastraße

In the centre of the village of Vichtenstein you will find another spacious viewing station with plenty of seating and a fountain with excellent drinking water quality. A window designed as a wooden sculpture provides a view of the Lower Bavarian communities of Untergriesbach and Obernzell and is a popular photo motif. Right next to the panoramic stage is Vichtenstein Castle, which was built around 1100 and is now privately owned, along with its stand-alone keep.
