Asen-memorial

M​r. Asen, residing in Straßwalchen, liked to travel in the mountains. Very often he also climbed the Schober with his family.

​In 1980 he died - at the age of 45 - of cancer. His workmates, whom he was very fond of, put up the commemorative plaque on the Schober. As long as she was able, his wife, Theresia Asen, came here, took care of this place of remembrance and lit a light. In the near future, the writing on the blackboard will be renewed.
