Kolomans board

Zell am Moos/Tiefgraben, Oberösterreich, Österreich
On the mountain ridge, where the path from Henndorf to Zell am Moos meets the Kolomansbergweg, there were several boards on the tree from time immemorial, in order to point the way for hikers and pilgrims. Restaurateur Josef Daberto from Salzburg / Taxham came here on a hike in the 70s. The place impressed him and he decided to make a tree picture. In 1979 it was installed. Exposed to the weather, the housing became rotten over the years. Wegwart Meinrad Rieger (ÖAV Mondsee) found the badly damaged Marterl and brought it to August Meindl. He renovated the frame and wanted to put the picture back on the tree. At the request of Mr. Daberto, who wanted to see the work with his picture, but it was no longer possible to go long distances, the renovated original painting was installed in the Kolomanskirche.

The new tree picture was made by August Meindl and mounted on 18 April 2010 at the Kolomanstaferl tree.

"This renovated Kolomanstaferl was at the request and the age of the previous restaurateur Josef Daberto from Maxglan (right: Taxham) 1979 now in the St. Transferred Kolomanskirche. The advocacy of the Mesner of this ancient wonderful church is present.
ENT AND HERENT WRITES HALT STILL A KURENT "(August Meindl)
