Sagmuehl chapel
Innerschwand am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich
In the moonlight book of Dr. med. Kunze it is reported:
"In the Wangau the Sagmuehlen chapel under the picture, which shows a ship mill on the Danube with Vienna as background, the following inscription:" On 30 October 1836 is Franz Raudaschl Mühl and Sagmeister son to Ihnerschwandt bey Monnsee on the Danube bey By a boat trip, Vienna had fallen into the water by ditching it and had drowned it, and had been crushed by the wheel in the 23rd year. Dear reader, I ask you, do not go ahead and bed for me. "1)
In 1933, the Parhammer family acquired the estate and farmed it. In 2010, the siblings sold the property, as a further agricultural use by family members could no longer be guaranteed. The shrine in the garden continues to exist. The precious picture has been restored and is now kept in the house for safety reasons.
