  • Suitable for groups

The bridge connects Wels and Thalheim since 1901!

The Traun Bridge was built in 1901 by the bridge construction company Ignaz Gridl from Vienna as a steel structure with two large arches and framework made of vertical bars in simple secessionist forms. The bridge is supported by bridgeheads disguised with granite blocks and powerful central pillars. It connects the municipal areas of Thalheim and Wels.
