A deliciously mowed mountain meadow

In the impressive natural setting of the Limestone Alps, you will get active and embark on a search for the diversity of nature.

You will try mowing with a scythe and immediately feed the succulent meadow grass to the animals in the barn. In addition, you will make homemade butter, which is refined with collected wild herbs into aromatic Limestone Alps herb butter and enjoyed with hearty farmhouse bread.

Capacity limits - maximum number of participants 15 people - Online registration is absolutely required!

Opening hours

May 9 to September 26, 2025, every Friday from 9:30 AM (duration approx. 2.5 to 3 hours)
From July 26 to August 17, 2025, if fully booked on Fridays, an additional session will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Accessibility / arrival

On the Pyhrn motorway, take the Windischgarsten/Roßleithen exit and first drive to the town of Pichl. Turn right there towards Hinterstoder and follow the road for a few kilometers to the Renault car dealership Zemsauer. Turn right here in front of the car dealership and follow the road up towards Ferienhof Christa. After 1.1 kilometers you will find the farm on the right.
