Musikverein Oepping

The Musikverein Oepping currently has 43 active musicians, two sutlers and a drum leader. Nine music students are currently learning a musical instrument.

The bandmaster is Mr Robert Hoffmann, the baton leader is Mr Franz Lauß. Mr Gerhard Engleder is the chairman of the association.

The existence of music in Oepping can be traced back to the year 1866. The first uniform was worn in 1936: green skirt, black trousers and green cap.

History:
For over 32 years, music rehearsals were held in the adjoining room of the Haidvogel inn.
Since 1988, the Oepping Music Association has had its own music centre in the attic of the fire station. In 1991, the Musikverein was given a beautiful new costume
