Brauerei - The Beer Buddies Brewing Company

We, Dr Andreas Weilhartner and Dr Christian Semper, have been passionate beer brewers for a long time. In 2014, we finally decided to turn our hobby into a profession and dedicate ourselves entirely to brewing beer. We found the perfect location in Tragweiner Gut, a farm with historical roots in the beautiful Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria. Our beer specialities are now produced in a natural environment. In 2017, we received the Microbrewery of the Year award.
OUR BEERS

Brewed with the purest Mühlviertel primary rock water from our own deep well, regional hops and a special blend of local malting barley. We focus on regionality, sustainability and naturalness. To bring out the full flavour, all our beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised.

URGESTEIN - Bavarian Märzen, alc. 4.7% vol.
A drinkable, bottom-fermented pale beer with a delicate hoppy flavour and a pleasant malty character. A real beer delight!

BERNSTEIN - Vienna lager, alc. 4.7% vol.
The high proportion of caramel malt gives this beer a hint of sweetness and the unique colour of amber.

Hey, Porter! - Porter, alc. 4.7% vol.
The high proportion of roasted malt in this top-fermented dark beer allows the notes of coffee and cocoa to unfold and merge into a true beer experience.

HOPF'N FOPPA - India Pale Ale (IPA) - Alk. 6.5% Vol.
Brewed according to the old English art of brewing. Top-fermented with massive hopping, pleasantly fruity on the palate and powerfully bitter on the finish.

MOJO ALE - DarkIPA, alc. 6.5% vol.
Based on our Porter, but additionally cold-hopped with American Cascade hops. A fusion of pleasant dark chocolate with hoppy citrus flavours.

CHANGO - Pilsner, alc. 4.5% vol.
A classic, lean pilsner beer, well hopped and drinkable. Only available on draught!
