Windhagen artist Gerhard Eilmsteiner designs the watershed sculpture trail. Monumental granite artworks line the path to the weather shuttle in the impressive landscape of the European Green Belt.
Gerhard Eilmsteiner, born in 1953, studied painting in Linz and has lived as a freelance artist in Windhaag near Freistadt since 1987. His work is largely characterised by granite and the landscape. He is a precise observer of his living environment and allows visitors to
visitors on this exciting journey of discovery through his sculptures.
As a gateway to the European Green Belt, the GREEN BELT CENTER in Windhaag near Freistadt opens up new approaches to nature, culture and, above all, the people of a common Europe.
