A place of legends: a poacher got lost in the cave. Only three days later he came back to the surface.
The cave as religious meeting place
A few hundred meters from the Kainwiese in Pichlern (a part of Bad Goisern), in the direction to the Raschberg, is the "Schwarzenbachloch".
At the end of the cave there is a pondabout 37 meters deep. During the time of religious persecution the protestants held meetings in the cave with religious services and spiritual songs to sing.
Similar meeting places were on the Rathsteig, the Ewige Wand and in the Kalmoos church.
