I bought my daughter a horse in autumn 2005. That's when it all began. I discovered my love of horses. We had hired our first horse, a trotting mare, from friends. Through handling and caring for her, we realised that having our own stable would be even more fun.

As we own agricultural land in Umberg, we had the idea of building a stable there. After lengthy planning and countless books on keeping horses, the ground-breaking ceremony for our stable took place in July 2006. After an intensive and short construction phase, we were able to open our open stable on 26 October 2006.

Our trotting mare Alexa, the colt Dorino and the loan horse Belino moved in. In January 2007 we bought a sweet pony called Walker. Unfortunately, our joy with him didn't last long, as he broke his leg in February 2007. As our children missed the pony so much, we bought another pony in May. Speedy is the name of the "little devil", and that's what he is.
