The Luagschmiede is located behind the Roither inn. The 400-year-old building has housed a hammer mill for over 150 years, which specialised in the manufacture of agricultural equipment and tools and has been preserved in its authentic state. Water power is still used today to operate the large hammer and the windmill. The blacksmith Alois Fuchs explains the operation and demonstrates how tools are made. During events, fire tents are baked in the old oven. The residential wing gives a very good insight into the way of life in the previous century.
