My values
I am a carpenter because I enjoy what I do and consider myself lucky to have found a vocation in my first apprenticeship. I am convinced that it makes a difference what materials are used to make furniture and everyday objects and how they are manufactured and finished. I therefore prefer to use local wood from sustainable forestry that has been felled after the moon and has had time to dry in peace and fresh air. My products are untreated or finished with organic hard wax.
I deliberately do not participate in the vicious circle of
"always more, always cheaper, always faster".
