Visit this wonderful, pink chapel at the small mountain "Kalvarienberg"

The chapel - an energy field with five secrets

After expert inhabitants of Gosau discovered an energy field between the two church buildings, a small chapel was built on this square in 1775.

The founders are the two salt production daughters from Hallstatt, Maria Sollinger and Maria Theresia Sengmüller. At that time they donated 700 crowns to enable the construction of a small chapel and thus to use the energy field. The steps up to the Calvary Church, with its four chapels, tell the four secrets of the painful rosary. The fifth secret is revealed right here in the small church.

The Calvary Church is looked after by the Catholic Sisters of the Cross in Gosau at Dachstein. Today it serves especially as a symbol for the strongly represented ecumenism in Gosau and is used by believers of both denominations.

Experience a 360° panorama tour through Gosau valley…

You can visit the church all over the year, depending on the snow.
