The Schöneben access point is the heart of the Šumava Nordic Center. Located at 1,000 meters above sea level, it offers the perfect starting point for unforgettable cross-country skiing experiences in the Bohemian Forest. From here, you can set off directly onto the perfectly groomed high-altitude trails, which are prepared for both classic cross-country skiers and skaters. Thanks to the snow-sure location and the protective forests, you can enjoy cross-country skiing here for a long time - often well over 100 days per season.

Family-friendly: the Spi-Lo in Schöneben
A special highlight for families is the Spi-Lo, an adventure trail especially for children. On a varied circuit with jumps, wave tracks, gates and other obstacles, the little ones learn how to handle cross-country skis safely in a playful way - fun and exercise in the fresh winter air guaranteed!
