In the paradise of organic bees

The Neubauer family runs their organic farm in Sipbachzell with a strong commitment to quality and respect for nature. Bees have been kept on the farm for generations, and Karl Neubauer started beekeeping in 1985 when he took over his first bee colony from his father. Since 2008, he has been looking after between 70 and 100 bee colonies at 5 different locations in the organic apiary. Spelt, einkorn, oats, triticale, wheat, rye, giant honey clover and much more are also grown on the Neubauer family's organic farm. Visitors can get up close and personal with the organic bees and learn about the fascinating world of bees and the benefits of organic beekeeping.

Programme (duration: 2 - 3 hours):

• Presentation of the farm
• Guided tour into the world of bees
• What is special about organic honey
• Tour of the grain processing plant and the farm mill
• Social get-together in the covered courtyard

The programme can be rounded off with various activities: Discover honeycombs, spin honey, make candles.
Individual programmes are possible after consultation with the farm.
