The common denominator of the exhibits is printmaking, showing primarily lithography, etching, linocut.
The Kunsthalle was opened in 2013. The mentor of this cultural district was Mag. Wolfgang Zöhrer, who died in 2013. The roof construction symbolizes a tin can and was designed by Angela Berger (copyrighted) and technically implemented by Hans Greiner. The printing techniques Lithography (lithography), etching and linocut are preserved in the Kunsthalle. In addition to modern art, antiquarian prints are on display. We present two exhibitions a year with guest artists, works by the artists Angela Berger and Wolfgang Zöhrer and a changing antiquarian part. There are also concerts and author readings.
The Kunsthalle Mühlviertel should be a platform for figurative art, whereby the contents may well be "backward" and profound.
