From the cellar of the house, you enter the "underworld" through an opening in the floor. The first few metres of the corridor are lined with beautiful ashlars. After 4.5 metres, you reach a transverse passage with three cloverleaf-shaped seating niches at the northern end, which are largely covered by the filling material. The south-western end of the cross passage is formed by a backfilled auxiliary construction shaft, which is also connected to the passage section one level higher.
After 1.5 metres, a branching passage bends to the right at a right angle and reduces its height to 0.70 metres, so that you have to crawl on all fours. You will be all the more amazed when you reach the circular slip tube, which overcomes a level difference of 2.7 metres from the floor of the passage to the ceiling of the upper level. To get to the top, you can use the carved niches.
On the upper floor, there are again two seating niches in the southern side aisle. The northern part of the main corridor has the previously mentioned backfilled auxiliary construction shaft. The southern end of the corridor is T-shaped, and the two seating niches here make it possible to linger in reasonable comfort.

The extremely high slip tube proves that the builders of this earth stable were certainly not people of small stature.
It appears that this structure has been preserved in its original state. However, the large amount of filling material, which reaches a thickness of 40 cm in the lower level, remains unexplained. There are a total of 8 seating niches in this 25.3 metre long earth stable.
