Course venue: Our dance school in Gmunden is situated on the first floor above ‘Zielpunkt’ at Georgstrasse 6 – approximately 200 metres past the Traun Bridge heading out of town. Sunday classes always take place in the gym at Traundorf School. (The entrance is by the car park next to the dance school.) Taster session: Come along and have a go on the first evening of the course with no obligation to join, and then decide. Please book your taster session at office@danceschool.at. Any questions? At Horn only: You are free to switch between the parallel weekly course sessions. You’re also welcome to attend the dance evenings twice a week at no extra cost. Beginners’ Course for Couples Even if you’ve never danced before, the basic steps and figures are easy to learn. We teach light, practical dancing for celebrations, parties and balls. From the very first evening, you and your partner will be gliding across the dance floor together with great enjoyment. No previous experience is required for the beginners’ course. The beginners’ course lasts a total of 8 weeks (= a 2-month booking) and costs 57 euros per month per person. You’ll learn the most popular dances, such as the Viennese waltz, slow waltz, foxtrot, boogie, blues, samba and slow fox. Please come in casual clothing. We recommend that bridal couples, wedding parties and relatives book the 8-week beginners’ course. Couples’ Course for Advanced Dancers: From slightly advanced through to advanced and club level, you can refresh and expand your dancing skills.
