Rastplatz Panorama Blaas

Freinberg, Oberösterreich, Österreich
Rest area "Blaas“ in Haibach in Schärding  Danube: Lifeline for humans and nature…
The Danube, in contrast to most other European currents, runs from the west to east and thus, connects the diverse landscapes of the regions. It presents an important lifeline and moving line for human beings but also for plants and animals. The Donausteig hiking trail accompanies the 2850 km long river for 250 km on mostly both shores throughout Upper Austria. Over ten different regions – from the Danube and Aschach valley over to the Machland – reveal to us their natural and scenic characteristics.
