This forest chapel is located on the Klausbach near Plomberg St. Lorenz. It was erected thanks to the fact that on its site a chaplain was saved from a tree that had a picture of St. Thekla.
Let us start the walk at the Gasthof Drachenwand in St. Lorenz, and follow the trail to Drachenwand or Almkogel.Right at the beginning of the path, we can see the plague from the path, in the garden of the House of St. Lorenz No. 126 (Emhofer family).

Accessibility / arrival
Coming from the Mondsee motorway exit, head towards St. Gilgen / Bad Ischl.
After approx. 5 km you will see the St. Lorenz church on your right, turn right here and drive towards Gasthof Drachenwand, where you can park your car at the parking lot for the via ferrata. Leave the Gasthof Drachenwand on the right and then immediately turn right again to climb to the Thekla chapel.
