Town tours
Groups of more than 10 people can book a guided tour of the town by prior arrangement with the Böhmerwald information office.
A guided tour of the town begins in the town history room with a general overview of the district town of Rohrbach and a short film. Individual stops: Town hall | Poeschlhaus | stone tables | Trinity Column | cinema view of Neu-Rohrbach | post office building as the former seat of the Russian military commandant's office (memorial plaque) | war memorial | church | church tower climb, if desired

Maria-Trost pilgrimage church
Guided tours are now also available on the hill at the popular Maria-Trost pilgrimage church. Depending on your interests, this is limited to the history and explanation of the art treasures of the church or also includes the small monuments around the pilgrimage church. During a walk, we also visit interesting chapels such as Maria Schnee or the "Holy Sepulchre" in the middle of the forest, which are very close by. The legendary "Devil's Chapel" and the statue of St. Ivo, known in Rohrbach-Berg as "Schickanus", round off the walk.

This St. "Schickanus" is so named because he offers help in finding a partner: "Send us on!". As a supporting program, "organ music" can also be offered for those interested in music.

Applies to both guided tours: Guided tours are also available in English on special request.

Can only be visited by appointment with Mr. Brand: 066473091835 or mir@rohrbach-berg.ooe.gv.at.

Weekly guided tours from 1 May to 31 October, Wednesday 5 pm also by appointment only!
