The 3D archery course "Am Hochgattern" in Peilstein offers 30 varied shots, well-maintained 3D animals and a wonderful, typically Mühlviertel hilly landscape.

Course open all year round (equipment rental closed in winter)

The course covers approx. 4 km of forest and meadow terrain. Sturdy footwear (generally outdoor clothing) is strongly recommended. Shooting is permitted with all types of bows (longbow, recurve, primitive bow, compound, ...) up to a maximum of 70 pounds. Crossbows are not permitted!

Equipment hire:
Our extremely well-maintained equipment hire service (currently approx. 60 bows for hire) is particularly popular at weekends. We therefore recommend - especially on nice, sunny days - that you call in advance to reserve the equipment you need

Course opening hours:

Daily from 08.00 am to 1 hour before sunset (all year round - except for a few days a year due to tournaments, driven hunts, ...)

Equipment rental opening hours:

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11.00 a.m., last bow issue at 4.00 p.m.
