Any amount of fun pistes, delicious treats served by the most hospitable hosts in the Alps, a mountain panorama to lose yourself in and with 160 kilometres of perfectly prepared splendid white pistes, the Dachstein West ticket area provides more than enough room for you to let off steam!
Want MUCH MORE than dreary ‘motorway’-style ski pistes? Want to experience variety on exciting pistes and to enjoy life in authentic, traditional ski lodges?
On the unique fun pistes in the Dachstein West ski region skiing will definitely be exciting! However, please note, it is not just the ‘highly gifted’ ski technicians who get to ski on the ‘Wilde Hilde’, the ‘Rock’n Roll’ and the ‘Donnergroll’; there are also great challenges in store for beginners!
There is the Marcel Hirscher slalom route, which has a time measurement facility, speed measurement route so you can get up speed, Snowcross facilities with a start machine, demanding mogul pistes, soft wave slopes and much more - which get ski fans rejoicing!

Mid season: 09.01.2021 to 22.01.2020
Operating & opening times:
Lifts: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Slopes closed from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Cashiers desks: 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.
Please note: Reduced number of lifts and slopes in the early and late season.

Accessibility / arrivalby car
from Salzburg:
motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the "Pass Gschütt" junction turn right onto the "Gosausee Landstraße", after approx. 5 km you will reach the car park
from Linz:
motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the "Pass Gschütt" junction drive straight ahead onto the "Gosausee Landstraße", then after approx. 5 km you will reach the parking lot
by bus (irregular on Sundays):
from Bad Ischl: bus in direction to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau)
from Rußbach: bus in direction to Gosau, at the terminus change to bus in direction to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau)

Free Ski Bus& Free Shuttlebus There are free shuttle bus from Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Hallstatt, Obertraun Golling Abtenau, St. Martin and Lungötz to Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg. In addition, free ski bus to Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg.
